Specific features of the magnetic-field dependences of electrical resistivity in Bi–Mn solid solutions with low Mn content

Анотація

Досліджено польові залежності магнітоопору текстурованого полікристала Bi88.08Mn11.92 у конфігураціях H ⊥ I та H || I, а також проведено їх порівняння з відповідними залежностя-ми для твердого розчину Bi95.69Mn3.69Fe0.62 з меншою кон-цен¬трацією марганцю. Показано, що польові залежності магнітоопору Bi88.08Mn11.92 суттєво відрізняються від зале-жностей для Bi95.69Mn3.69Fe0.62 нижче 100 К та стають приб-лизно однаковими при наближенні до кімнатної температу-ри. Встановлено, що максимальні значення відносного магнітоопору Bi88.08Mn11.92 для обох конфігурацій H ⊥ I та H || I спостерігаються за напруженості поля 90 кЕ та темпе-ратури 100 К і становлять 3170% та 380% відповідно. Ці значення істотно менші, ніж отримані раніше для твердого розчину з нижчим вмістом марганцю (Bi95.69Mn3.69Fe0.62): 3877% та 742% відповідно. Аналіз результатів свідчить про те, що відмінності в польових залежностях досліджених матеріалів пов’язані з різним вмістом магнітної фази α-BiMn. Аномальна поведінка магнітоопору, порівняно з чистим вісмутом, зумовлена впливом внутрішнього магнетизму на електропровідність у вісмутовій матриці досліджених твердих розчинів.
