Non-stationary longitudinal Josephson effect in electron-hole bilayers

Анотація

Досліджено нестаціонарний поздовжній ефект Джозефсона в двошарових системах зі спарюванням просторово розділених електронів і дірок. Досліджено тунельний струм між двома (правим і лівим) слабко зв’язаними електрон-дірковими кон денсатами за наявності зовнішньої напруги, прикладеної між лівою та правою сторонами системи. Розглянуто два граничні режими: режим високої густини, в якому спарювання відбу вається в імпульсному просторі подібно до звичайних над провідників, і режим низької густини, що відповідає бозе ейнштейнівському конденсату просторово непрямих екситонів. У межах підходу тунельного гамільтоніана отримано вирази для квазічастинкового, надпровідного та інтерференційного внесків у тунельний струм. Показано, що в межах високої густини квазічастинковий та інтерференційний струми зни кають за нульової температури та напруг, менших за порогове значення, яке визначається енергетичною щілиною, так що в системі протікає лише надструм. Натомість у режимі низької густини безщілинний спектр колективних збуджень зумовлює скінченні дисипативні внески (квазічастинковий та інтерфе ренційний струми) навіть за нульової температури, що приз водить до затухання джозефсонівських осциляцій. Для тунельних бар’єрів, просторово розділених на відстань, що значно перевищує довжину когерентності, фаза параметра порядку зазнає стрибків на кожному з бар’єрів, що спричиняє осци ляції напруги на електронному та дірковому бар’єрах та несинусоїдальну залежність струму від фази.
