Abstract
The relationship between the topological characteristics of the refraction surface and the behavior of transmission of TM- or TE-type volume waves through a transparent half-wave AFM layer in crossed dc magnetic and electric fields is studied. It is shown that the conditions of resonance transmission correspond to the spectrum of escaping volume magnetic polaritons of the layer and to the spectrum of electromagnetic waves in the plate with extreme values of the surface impedance.
