Abstract
In this work, photoconductivity spectra were studied by the Fourier-transform spectroscopy in the solid solution of Pb1−xSnxTe(In) at low temperatures. It is shown that quenching of the persistent photoconductivity in Pb1–xSnxTe(In) by radio pulses of very high frequency (100–200 MHz) can be used to ob-tain spectra using a Fourier-transform spectrometer. In the spectra, the interband absorption band was observed, and the temperature dependence of its red cut-off boundary was determined.
